Commonly known as Billy Button or Drumstick, Craspedia is considered a half-hardy annual in the United States. It generally blooms all summer long, and is very popular for cutting and drying. The flower heads are tough and durable making an exceptional dried flower.

Billy Buttons are very popular with florists for cut flowers. They also make excellent dried flower because they are quite durable and hold their color very well. This Australian native will grow in any soil and has long stems with ½” flowers perched on top. They are very expensive to purchase as a dried flower for crafts, so why not grow your own?
