GROWING NEMESIA: Sow Nemesia seeds indoors 4 - 6 weeks before last frost. Sow flower seed on surface of starter compost and gently firm down compost, only lightly cover. Keep soil damp but not wet. Do not exclude light. When the Nemesia seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 3 inch pots and grow in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatize the young Nemesia seedlings to outdoor conditions. As seedlings grow, pinch back 1 - 2 times to encourage compact growth. Transplant outdoors after all risk of frost has passed, 6 inches apart. Or directly sow Nemesia seeds outdoors in prepared beds when danger of frost has passed. Thin to 6 inches apart.
